DCA1000EVM: hardware trigger with frame period in framecfg

Hi,

If I set the frame period to 10 instead of 1 in framecfg in mmwave studio and I also use hardware trigger. What will happened when only one pulse input to sync_in?

Will it only start one frame or it will start 10 frames based on the frame period setting in framecfg?

Chris,

Number of frame would based on the configured "No of frames" in the framecfg at the repetition rate specified in "periodicity" in msec.

Sorry. I made a mistake. I want to check if I set no. of frame to 10 and use hardware trigger, what will happen when one pulse input to sync_in? Will it start only one frame or 10 frames?

Thanks for clarification, Then in this scenario, It will transmit 10 frames per Sync_in pin pulse .
