Hi. i'm aron,

we made a purchase DCA1000 and AWR1642Boost model recently.

because we have some project AWR1642 and 1843 for motors

we will proceed hardware design for built in car.

so we need to separate the hardware block in DCA1000.

we want to use serializer(example DS90UB953) for LVDS transmitter.

would you tell me know this solution or offer the chip.

ours requirement is as below.

1. AWR1843 LVDS transmitter(serializer) chip

- support POC type(Power over cable)

2. AWR1843 DVP(DMM) Deserializer chip for Playback

Hello Sangim,

The DS90UB953 device does not support LVDS input, it supports only CSI input. I am not sure if there is a serializer for LVDs interface.

I am not sure I understand what you mean by AWR1843 support power over cable? If the serializer supports power over cable and can support the current requirements of AWR1843 you can power the AWr1843 using it.

I know poc type support 300mA, I want to use a little current,

we want to use fakra cable type, don't support POC no problem.

can you introduce me some product serializer.

ours system is as below.

AWR1843 -> LVDS -> Seriailzer -> Deserializer -> DCA1000

I want to use SerDes for connect to the cable.

Hello Sangmin,

Unfortunately I am not aware of the serializer for LVDS interface. we have serializer for CSI interface.

I have another solution.

AWR1843 -> LVDS -> MIPI -> DS90UB953 -> DS90UB954 ->MIPI -> LVDS -> DCA1000

(we can change the signal technology use FPGA)

if I use this solution, can you give me a some information for LVDS to MIPI

we have to know data type, etc.

Hello Sangmin,

Is the LVDS data collection only for initial development purpose only ?In that case you could contact vendors like Vector who have solution LVDS data capture over long distance , instead of using DCA1000. For example they have a VX1000 solution (https://www.vector.com/int/en/products/products-a-z/hardware/vx1000/) which you could try.
