AWR2243BOOST: Confusion about AWR2243BOOST RX antennas

As shown in the figure above, there are two additional antennas connected to the copper plane besides the four RX antennas.

I'm confused about these two "antennas". I have noticed this type of design in several other EVM such as AWR1243BOOST and mmWave cascaded imaging radar.

So what's the function of this design? In other words, what would happen if there were not these two "antennas"?

I have browsed the URL contents you provided. Is it means that if there were no "dummy" antennas, RX antennas in the middle of the array would be slightly different from those on the sides in performance? In other words, these two "dummy" antennas keep the four RX antennas working "uniformly", is that right?

Yes, that is correct, dummy antennas are for a symmetric performance across all RXs.
