AWR1443BOOST: enable the streaming of raw data

Now I want to run mmwave demo in the boards and capture raw ADC data by using DCA1000. According to mmwave_sdk_user_guide.pdf, if we use the lvdsStreamCfg command, is it possible to capture the raw ADC data?

But according to the thread below, there may be some errors if we enable the LVDS. So I am very confused, and could you tell me is it possible to enable lvds output when running demo in AWR1443BOOST?

Hello,

That reply was based on the old version of mmwave SDK. But in the latest mmwave SDK v2.1 onwards, it provides an option to enable the LVDS streaming in the application.

This feature is mainly available for AWR16/18xx devices but not directly for AWR1443. For AWR1443 user needs to implement this feature in the application.

So do you mean I just add lvdsStreamCfg command in the profile.cfg provided by SDK2.1 and then the LVDS streaming can be enabled?

In mMWave SDK 3.3 LVDS stream feature has been added to enable the LVDS streaming in the application with lvdsStreamCfg CLI command.

But for that user need to implement this LVDS streaming feature in their application to configure the device for LVDS streaming at lvdsStreamCfg command.

I would request you to refer mmw demo from mMWave SDK where LVDS streaming feature is implemented and

mmw_lvds_stream.c/.h is the main file for lvds stream feature implementation. And in mmw_cli.c all the CLI command callbacks are implemented.

Optionally you can use mmwave Studio to stream and capture the LVDS data from AWR1443BOOST without any application amendment. similar thread.
