Hi experts,
I think it is basically 4 cascades as described in swra574b.pdf, but can it be used as 8 cascades?
Thanks
Best Regards,
Watanabe.

Hello Watanabe,
Yes, you could create your own similar schematic to achieve a connection with 8 AWR2243s.

Hello Ishita,
Thanks for the answer.
Is there any document that can help me to realize the connection of 8 AWR2243s?
Thanks

watanabe.
Hello Watanabe,
Unfortunately, we don't have any documentation to realize your scenario. You could take help from the same guide you mentioned. The connections will be on similar grounds.

Hello Ishita,
When implementing 8 cascades, should I add splitter to each of the LO outputs of FMCW_CLKOUT and FMCW_SYNCOUT and branch them as shown in the figure below?
Looking at Figure 7, the LO output of FMCW_CLKOUT is Typ.7dBm, and FMCW_SYNCIN1 is Min.-6dBm. Depending on the wiring of LO, it may be less than -6dBm.Is it possible to insert AMP to the output of FMCW_CLKOUT and FMCW_SYNCOUT? In that case, the phases may be out of phase. Or is there a different way?
Hello ,
Yes you can have any number of devices cascaded with AWR2243P. As you rightly noted , the main care about is that the FM CW SYCN IN level should be > -6dBm. For 8 chip cascade we would recommend using an external amp at the FM CW SYNC OUT and using the amp output split out to 8 outputs (using 3 stages of splitting ) and feeding the FM CW SYNC IN of all the 8 devices.
