AWR2243: Using non-TI MCU for host

Hi,

My customer is planning to use AWR2243.
As AWR2243 does not include MCU nor DSP, an external host is needed.
Customer wants to use non-TI MCU.

In such case, can customer use TI SDK and DFP on non-TI MCU?
Do we have any migration documents?
