AWR1843BOOST: MRR Visualizer tool cannot replay

Hi

I was trying to use the MRR visualizer to record and replay test, but it does not seem to work, is it a feature that works or not? Please help.

    When you open MRR Visualizer, you would get an option to Replay pre-existing recording.

    Thank you for your email, when I tried it, it can record into a file,, than when I specified the recorded file to reply, I still have to provide a correct com port number, and displayed live data, not the recorded data. What I did wrong? I want to see it replay.

    I'm afraid that replay feature of this GUI is not being verified so it may not work as expected.

    Hello Xin,

    I have checked with the team, SRR Visualizer GUI was verified for the Replay feature but not the MRR GUI.

    Could you once try SRR application (GUI and SRR application) at your end for replay? SRR app can directly on AWR1843 as well.

    SRR to MRR there are few changes but the backbone of both of GUI is same, so if SRR GUI works then you can compare the GUI code and take appropriate fix to MRR GUI for replay.

    Hi, Jitendra,
    I was trying to do it, but I found in the prebuilt binaries folder there is only 16xx codes, no 18xx codes, what shall I do to obtain binaries for 1843?
     
    by the way, files recorded by mrr loading into srr visualize does not play.

    1) the srr visualizer tool does not seem to play a file recorded by mrr test tool.

    2) for 1843 chip, cannot find a binary to load to do the srr test either.

    Hello Xin,

    Let me reiterate in detail

    1. SRR demo is targetted for AWR1642 device. But AWR1642 SRR demo can run on AWR1843 without any change. So you flash the same binary to AWR1843BOOST.

    2. Run SRR demo and GUI with AWR1843, to confirm the replay feature.

    3. After above confirmation, you need to look for GUI matlab source code and find the fix for MRR GUI playpack feature.

    There is not short term plan to release new version of MRR demo update to even fix this replay feature.
