CCS/IWR6843AOPEVM: VitalSigns lab does not run on the IWR6843AOPEVM board.

Part Number: IWR6843AOPEVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MMWAVEICBOOST

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

I tried to run vital sign with the IWR6843AOPEVM board but it failed.

MMWAVEICBOOST, standalone neither works.

I used mmwave_industrial_toolbox_4_3_1\labs\vital_signs\68xx_vital_signs.

I manually set the COM port and ran it, but it failed.

  • Hi Chunghee

The mmWaveICBoost is required by the visualizer in the Vital Signs Lab.

    AG

  • Dear AG, I had tried to do testing with the following prebuilt binary files

    E:\ti\mmwave_industrial_toolbox_4_3_1\labs\vital_signs\68xx_vital_signs\prebuilt_binaries

    vital_signs_demo_68xx_aop.bin

I had tried this binary with Boost and w/o Boost.

    1. What is the main difference between with Booster and without it?

    a. via Boost board USB

    b. via directly AOP USB

    2. Our goal is to extract vitalsign output data directly from AOP to PC (We can modify UIUX RX format if needed, or can program according to Output format).

Don't you have any lab example ? If not, can you guide us how to extract Output Data directly from AOP via USB port?

     BR,

    chcho.

  • Hi Chcho

The Vital Signs Lab is provided as-is and support for it on E2E forums is limited. I would recommend finding older threads for a potential solution.
