I'd like to detect humans outdoors at 300m range, distinguishing them from other objects e.g animals and vehicles.
Azimuth field of view needs to be as narrow as possible. As low as 5 degrees would be great.
Is this achievable? What mmwave sensor is recommended for this long range? Is there an existing EVM that I can use to test this application, at that range?
Secondly, can I use the same sensor to detect humans at the 300m range along two planes, 90 degrees apart in azimuth (assume a narrow azimuth FoV, so essentially a 2D scan per plane) e.g by switching between two sets of antennas?
