Hi,

We are about to buy an MMWCAS-RF-EVM radar board with an MMWCAS-DSP-EVM. We would like to make real-time processing of the raw data and we are wondering if the 1Gb/s ethernet interface is enough since the combined output data rate of 4 AWR2243P is higher.

There is any solution to this? Maybe outputting the data through the PCIe connector. Moreover, it is possible to replace the 512GG SSD with a bigger one?

Hi,

1Gb Ethernet is not sufficient for raw data processing.

The cascade kit was not designed for raw data processing.

You probably would have to design your own solution

Hi Cesar,

Thank you for your quick answer. I am wondering if it is possible to lower a little bit the performance by not using all the 12 * 16 channels to also lower the bit rate and get the raw samples in real time.

Hi,

It is theoretical possible but it would require for you to develop the sw application since there is no sw package from TI that supports these features.
