FDC2114EVM: Default value of capacitance of internal LC circuit

Hi Team,

I would like to get your assistance regarding our customer inquiry with FDC2114EVM below.

The customer is asking for the default value of the capacitance of the internal LC circuit of FDC2114 as they are facing the variations in external capacitance value.

They are putting 100mh and 50pf as sensor and want to measure the value of capacitor from 50pf to 500pf.

Please let me know your inputs above.

Hi Jonathan,

The FDC2214 is a capacitance to digital output device and meant for proximity or liquid level sensing applications and not a device that can measure capacitance. Its not an LCR device or a device that can measure capacitance.

The Idrive (Init) not able to detect.

We are not getting value in the "Detect iDriveInit " Column.

Please help to resolve it.
