CCS/PGA970: Unable to generate proper output signals at the VOUT-pin

Part Number: PGA970
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: USB2ANY

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hello guys,

I ran into a problem using the PGA970EVM-board in combination with the USB2ANY-board: I'm trying to build a simple version of LVDT distance measuring unit. I connected all 3 coils in the same way they worked with my old board ( trying to replace the chip on my old board with the PGA970).  Moving the core didnt cause any effects on my VOUT-pin. Due to that I've read that you need to programm the PGA970 since it's function isn't integrated in factory state.

After reading all manuals I installed Code Composer Studio, the PGA970 firmware and the USB2ANY SDK. Although i followed the steps of the manual and created + uploaded the PGA970.hex file to my board, i didn't recieve any change at my VOUT-pin.

The PGA970 firmware also stated , that my loaded FRAM and DEVRAM are matching.

Are you guys having some advice/guesses where my mistakes could be located?

Regards
