1. I used 3D FFT with 3TXs to get the point clouds including the horizontal surface (X-Y plane) point clouds and the vertical surface (Y-Z plane) point clouds. I used 8RXs (including 4 virtual RXs, the red circle in the below figure) to get the horizontal surface (X-Y plane) point clouds, and I used 2RXs (including 1 virtual RXs, the blue circle in the below figure) to get the vertical surface (Y-Z plane) point clouds.
I wonder how can I correspond these point clouds which have just two dimensional information and get a 3D scatter plot? Like the 3D scatter plot in TI’s video.
Or, was there any methods to produce the 3D scatter point clouds?
2. I know that 3TXs can produce the 3D point clouds of people. It seems that TI set up the radar at the height of about 1m, and the radar faced front in the video.
If comparing to the horizontal surface with 8 RXs, there are just 2 RXs (including the virtual RXs) in the vertical surface.
I wonder how you can have the height of people in the video?
And, wouldn’t the ground reflection influence the results in the 3D scatter point clouds?
