Hi guys,

I've downloaded latest mmwave industrial toolbox and latest mmwave sdk. I wanted to test your 3D people counting lab. I've tried with a prebuilt binary and I've built a binary from source code myself. Both times the code didn't work with GUI.

When i tried to run the code from the debugger, I get this msg:

The error code is MMWAVE_ECALCFG -> BSS calibration configuration failed.

Subsystem gives me RL_RET_CODE_FREQ_LIMIT_OUT_RANGE -> freq. is outside of range.

I didn't edit configuration files, and anyway the bandwith that's used by the default cfg file is around 2GHz, starting from 60.75 GHz -> it's not even close to the limit.

Any idea why this happens?

Hello,

ES2.0 IWR6843ISK. mmwave_industrial_toolbox 4_4_1, lab 68xx_3D_people_counting.

Gui is in "visualizer" folder, in labs->people_counting

Hi Aleksa,

1. Please confirm the Silicon revision of your device, using the instructions provided in the user guide. As noted, the demo is compatible only with IWR6843 ES2.0 silicon.

2. Are you able to get SDK Out of Box demo (from MMWAVE-SDK 3.4.0.3) to work on your EVM?

3. You mentioned that even the pre-compiled binaries are not working on your device. When running in CCS mode, as you show in your CCS console logs, did you first flash xwr68xx_ccsdebug.bin from MMWAVE-SDK 3.4.0.3, as noted in the CCS debug procedure in the demo user guide?

I do use ES2.0, and I have tested with few other labs and SDK Out of Box demo.

For some reason, this lab didn't work well with the USB cable I've used. Got a better USB cable, and lab starts now.

Now my GUI is having an issue, when I click Select Configuration in mmWave People Counting GUI, nothing happens.

But I guess that's something due to my pc, feel free to mark this issue closed.

To finish the story, just ran gui from source code. I got this error:

invalid literal for int() with base 10: '4_4_1__win.zip'
No cfg file selected!

So if someone stumbles upon this, gui won't work if you don't delete the zip file.
