IWR6843ISK-ODS: Uniflash

Part Number: IWR6843ISK-ODS
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UNIFLASH, , IWR6843

Hello all,

As you know in the Uniflash we should select our device. However, the IWR6843ISK-ODS booster pack is not listed there.
Can you help me with that?
I am receiving some errors during flashing my EVM for demo visualizer. So, I think maybe that is the problem.

  • Hello Sam,

IWR6843ISK-ODS is EVM name, you need to select IWR6843 device.

Could you please post your error, picture of EVM under error condition.

Also which demo you are trying to run, SDK version used for the demos information to narrow the problem.

    Thanks and regards,

    CHETHAN KUMAR Y.B.

  • Hello Chethan,

    Thanks for your reply.
I am using the latest version of SDK and Uniflash.
I was also using the offline version of the Uniflash.

I received the error "Cannot read property 'DS' of undefined'', which is quite common, and other people report the same error.

I tried some recommended solutions like reinstalling the Uniflash, which did not work.
I also noticed some people reported that the problem is solved when they are not connected to the internet. I tried that. The mentioned error did not show up again, but it stuck in "opening COM port."

Finally, I tried the online version of the Uniflash, and I successfully flashed my EVM.
Although my problem is solved, It would be useful if you help me to address the problem in the offline version of the Uniflash, since it is not always possible to be connected to the internet.

    With regards,

    Sam.

  • PS:  I was trying to use the point cloud demo.

  • Hello Sam,

Thank you for confirming, Online version of the Uniflash helped to overcome this problem. Online version of the Uniflash will have most updated feature updated and bug fixes incorporated as compared to offline version of Uniflash.

It would be good to raise a new thread with Uniflash as a product and Reference this thread to get a context to the problem.

    Thanks and regards,

    CHETHAN KUMAR Y.B.
