Hi Team,

We want to capture raw data using DCA1000 EVM along with IWR6843ISK antenna+MMWAVEICBOOST and post process that data to generate heatmaps for the following using 60GHz

range vs doppler

range vs azimuth

range vs elevation

azimuth vs elevation

Please share if any solution/example are available for the same. Can we get any solution similar to post processing application which is available for 77GHz.

The mmWavestudio tool enables the users to generate the required plots from the DCA1000 data for the EVMs you mentioned.

If you wish to do the processing yourself please look at the

I did not aware any of the post processing code available. Where is the post processing application for 77GHz locate? The same code should be able to apply to 6843ISK data as well.

Hi Zigang,

We have got the Matlab example for 77GHz from TI for post processing. Please refer the below forum ticket for details.

We need similar Matlab examples for 60GHz also to do the post processing.

Hi Zigang,

We have one more query regarding 60GHz post processed data. We are able to see the plots generated in Mmwave studio. Can we get a hold on the data(parameters) used to plot this. Is there any option in the mmwave studio to save the parameters being used for plotting. Please find the attached image regarding the plots.

HI,

We provide MATLAB post processing script for cascade system because we do not support SDK type of software for cascade system. For single device, we provide SDK OOB demo and all the code is open for public. So we do not provide MATLAB post processing scripts. But we do provide the MATLAB script for parsing the raw ADC data binary file into a radar cube data (range FFT output). The script is located at: C:\ti\mmwave_studio_02_01_xx_00\mmWaveStudio\MatlabExamples\singlechip_raw_data_reader_example\rawDataReader.m

The above script take the json file as input and also calculate most of the system parameters like range resolution and etc. You can search for dp_generateRFParams inside this script.
