AWR1843BOOST: AWR1843 BOOST CAN Interface

Hello, I am trying to get output on the CAN interface of AWR1843BOOST.

As per the user guide of AWR1843BOOST, the SPI and the CAN are muxed. Therefore, we shouldn't get our output on the serial interface when the switch S2 is placed at CAN.

But I am always getting the output on the serial interface, whereas when I connect my CAN to the CAN to USB converter I am not getting data.

I am currently running the Medium Range Radar demo for the Ti AWR1843BOOST hardware.

Please mention any other changes which should be done to get output over CAN instead of serial.

What is the version of the AWR1843 Boost you are using here? (Rev ?) It is highlighted on the silicon screen.

Hello Harkrishan,

On TIREX, there's a demo provided to receive object data over can (See below link). Can you please try the below demo with both the switch settings on S2 to make sure there's no hardware limitation. Although it is for AWR1642, but it work in AWR1843 also

MRR by default doesn't come with the CAN interface, hence I guess it's better to check with the default working application first and then move to MRR modifications.

I tried this but it doesn't seem to work ( To mention: I didn't use the exact model mentioned in the document CAN-USBFD).
