As far as I am aware, there is no specific sensor device TI offers that performs the fingerprint scan function.  Rather, a DSP unit such as CS5515 might be used to run the algorithm needed to scan the fingerprint and determine a match.  More information on that is available here.

Aside from the optics of a sensor, it may be possible that a temperature sensor or pressure sensor would be used to initiate or validate the optical scan.
