Thank you for sending over those steps. I will review and get back to you in a few days. 

In the meantime I suggest trying to use the default MIMO setup and the data capture scripts to verify if the problem exists with the setup or the sequence of steps being run in the mmWave Studio GUI. If the problem still exists when using the scripts with this default MIMO config, then it is possible there is a hardware issue we would need to look at. 

Otherwise, we will have to debug the specific setup steps being used.

Please find attached 2 lua scripts.

cascade_scripts.zip 

(1) Cascade_Configuration_MIMO_256pts.lua

ADC Samples is set to 256

(2) Cascade_Configuration_MIMO_512pts.lua

ADC Samples is set to 512

We expect the size of received data with (2) is double of (1), but in reality the size with (1) is 21.5MB, and the one with (2) is 18.4MB.

Please confirm if this result is expected or not.

Hi Shibata-san, 

The scripts you attached completely describe the cascade device setup. Can you also describe the specific capture sequence and options used?

There is an example script for cascade data capture included in mmWave Studio. See \mmWaveStudio\Scripts\Cascade\Cascade_Capture.lua. Can you modify that script to the same capture conditions used to replicate this problem?

Hi Randy,

Please find the steps below:

(1) Run mmWaveStudio

(2) Load “Cascade_Configuration_MIMO_256pts.lua” or “Cascade_Configuration_MIMO_512pts.lua”, and then push “Run!” button for configuration

(3) Load “Cascade_Capture.lua” (no modification from original one), and then push “Run!” button for data capture
