Hi, in the awr1843boost the datasheet talks about the UART1 to program the device:
And in the schematics I can see the RS232 ports of the IC, N5 and N4
Could I use the rs232 ports to flash a program to the AWR1843 in a custom board or do I need extra hardware?

Yes, the RS232 pins (N4, N5) are the same port. These are the pins used for flashing.
On a custom PCB you can just bring these pins to test points and then use a USB to UART converter like below to flash via Uniflash just as you would with an EVM.

Hi, but the RS232 and UARTA are different ports, if you say that by default RS232 is selected how could I flash over UART if UARTA is not selected?

Hello,
Flashing the device over UART is ONLY done on the RS232 pins (N4 and N5). If you boot the device is FLASH mode (SOP5), you will flash via the RS232 interface on N4 and N5. This will be the default state of these pins in flashing mode.
Please review the bootloader flow document for a deeper understanding.
