Hi,

Is it possible to do some real time measurements? Everytime I capture some data needs 20 sec to send it to the computer to later post process it. Would it be possible to see movement in real time?

Hi,

In the past there has been a real time demo using the cascade kit, However there is only limited functionality and limited support on AWR2243.

The only use case that is supported is data capture and post processing

I have checked the information and it says there is a bandwidth limit. If there is a Cat6 ethernet and SSD hard disk, could you please tell me why the transfer rate is only 5-6MB/sec?

The other question that I came through is if with the SDK ( https://www.ti.com/tool/PROCESSOR-SDK-TDAX

Hello Angel,

As mentioned by Randy in the previous thread, transfer is done through an SSH/SCP file transfer. With the basic transfer, that is the typical speed seen on 1GigE LAN. As said, this is a known limitation and we are looking for ways to improve that experience, but the timeline is not certain as of now.

Also, what is your query regarding Processor-SDK?

Hello Angel,

The Processors SDK for Radar (http://www.ti.com/tool/PROCESSOR-SDK-TDAX) does provide some real-time processing examples. Please download the package and refer to the existing documentation. One of these is an example streaming processed FFT, azimuth heatmap and point cloud to a host PC running an associated MATLAB network packet processor and GUI.
