My cusomer use this IC.

In the data sheet (p.56, Figure 28), the 0th bit (BRDG_EN) is blank.

Are you using it ?

They used the GUI to check it.

They wrote with Bridge Supply Voltage at 2.5V and read afterwards, the value remains at "0".

BRDG_EN is not enabled.

Is this correct ?

Since there is no mention of RW, I thought it was something that changes to 1 on its own, but if it's in the EN state even if it's 0, is it a misnomer in the data sheet ?

Hello Hayashi-san,

The BRDG_EN bit for the EEPROM register is not used since the bridge is automatically enabled by the compensation engine immediately on powerup. Reading the control and status register (DI page 0x02 and offset 0x46) you will find that the BRDG_EN bit is actually set to 1.

If it's set to 1, then it should be set to 1 when you read it in the GUI.

But it wasn't set to 1.

What are your thoughts on this matter ?

Hello Hayashi-san,

The EEPROM register will read 0. The digital interface register (page 0x02 offset 0x46) will read 1.

Hi Koji-san,

They will have to read the register in the low level configuration page. If they read the register from the EEPROM page they will only see the EEPROM register value.
