PGA305: About the initial value of DIG_IF_CTRL

The ”Table 19. Default Register Settings” on page 47 of the data sheet has an initial value of 62 (01100010), but when they read it, it is 66 (01100110).

Is this a misnomer ?

Also, could you please tell me what the 2nd Bit indicates if it is 1 ?

Hello Hayashi-san,

While the initial value in the datasheet is technically correct, it is not functionally correct. When the PGA305 powers on, the initial value is how it is described in the datasheet, but when the internal compensation engine begins running it immediately sets the DIG_IF_CTRL register to the value you see (0x66). The reserved bit (2) has to do with the OWI and should not be changed.
