Dear Scott,

   There seems to be an issue with the messaging settings. I have sent a friend request to you but instead of replies to my queries,  I am receiving copies of replies that you are sending to all other members. Kindly do the needful and resolve. Thank you

    Hi Anuj,

    I think this needs to be resolved from your end.  You may have selected 'Email subscribe to user' instead of (or in addition to Request friendship).  If you hover over Scott's name, you should see an option to unsubscribe (and also unfriend) to Scott's forum feed.
