TMP1075: Can I use this temperature sensor directly?

Hi Ti Team,

We have a project use TMP1075 temperature sensor. And my MCU is MSP430F5529. So I want to know if I can use this temperature sensor directly without config?

If I need config this sensor, Do you have any sample code for my reference?

Hi Kirk,

The TMP1075 will take a temperature measurement every 27.5ms unless you re-configure it. Approximately 27.5ms after power-on, you can make an I2C read request to retrieve the first measurement. You can query the temperature at any time, and you will receive the most recent temperature measured. If you don't need anything else, there's nothing to configure!

Yes, I need only to read temperature value every 5 seconds. So I think I can read directly.
