DCA1000EVM: Only 2 AR-DevPack-EVM Ports are showing up

As one can see in the picture below, only 2 of the ports are showing up when there should be 4. This specific laptop worked fine with another DCA1000EVM board, but not this one. Another laptop has worked for both boards.

Because of this, when I try and run the DataCaptureDemo, it gets stuck and the SPI never connects. Additionally, both the BSS and MSS Patch firmware ver read as "NA".

Any ideas on how to fix this to work on this laptop?

Things I've tried to fix the issue:

Power cycle board
Different USB cord
Reinstall FTDI drivers and devices
Restart laptop
Reinstall mmWaveStudio

Hello! Thank you for the response.

Using a IWR1443BOOST board with it. Using the J1 FTDI connector via USB using SPI. If that's not the EVM, could you let me know how to find that?

Hello

It does seem to a combination of board, PC HW, OS that might be playing a role.

We are glad to know that the board you mentioned is working on some version of PC. We would recommend the working combination to be used

Try another PC with the board under consideration.

Hello,

Thank you for the suggestion, but due to requirements for the project, is is not possible to use a different computer. Do you happen to have any suggestions to address the issue that is occurring?

Hello

Due the combination of things we wont be able to help debug the working on your machine.

Considering the board is working we can recommend reinstalling and trying it again from scratch.

Please see if the version of OS and windows patch make a difference.

Try another USB port.
