IWR6843AOP: Fall Detection GUI (Python)

I am trying the fallDetection_main.py (at \ti\mmwave_industrial_toolbox_4_4_1\labs\people_counting\visualizer). I have followed the ba_visualizer_user_guide to have 'Long Range People Detection' binary on the IWR6843AOP. Then, I ran fallDetection_main.py script, selected the corresponding CFG and DATA ports, selected Long Range People Detection as Config Type.

I also selected the fall detection configuration file ( at C:\ti\mmwave_industrial_toolbox_4_4_1\labs\people_counting\visualizer\chirp_configs\FallDetection).

But the GUI doesn't seem to run and I have b'' like below:-

We need to check further as to why you are seeing that failure.:

Can you please make sure the GUi supports the device you are trying.

Thanks, I'm using IWR6843AOPEVM. I can't seem to find information on which devices are the GUI supported.

Hello

We would recommend using the point cloud demo for IWR6843AOP to get a feel for the person point cloud and height information.

Please let us know how that goes.

I have tried out of box demo and also 3D people counting without any problem. I will take a look on how to extract the height information.
