We have tried to run the DCA1000 with the AWR1642BOOST. Everything works perfectly but it becomes "hung" when trying to download the 2nd file after running the DataCaptureDemo_xWR.lua. We have tried this with the BOOST board and our own in house developed board.
mmwave studio 2.1.1.0
Is it switch settings? Wrong software version? Thanks

Hi,

It looks like you have a board with ES 1.0 device.

You will need to use mmWave Studio 1.x firmware.

On the mmWave studio 1^st generation download page (click Get software) , at the bottom there is a link for previous releases

Mmwave 1.0 still hangs. Do I need to configure the DCA1000?

I also downloaded these bin 1.0 files but it still hangs

C:\ti\mmwave_studio_01_00_00_00\rf_eval_firmware\radarss\xwr16xx_radarss_rprc_ES1.0.bin

C:\ti\mmwave_studio_01_00_00_00\rf_eval_firmware\masterss\xwr16xx_masterss_rprc_ES1.0.bin

Are these the correct FIN files

Peter,

When using mmWave Studio, make sure both SOP0 and SOP1 have jumpers on the AWR1642BOOST EVM.

You can also refer to the DCA1000 Debug Handbook for additional references.
