IWR6843AOP: Abnormal wave on GUI with Vital Sign demo

Hi,

My customer is using IWR6843AOPEVM (ES2.0) with vital sign demo. But he found sometimes the output wave is abnormal as below. I also met such issue sometimes on 6843ISK. It can be retuned to normal by power off/on the board and restart the demo.

What cause this issue? Is it only a display/GUI issue or there is some problem on the data output from mmWave chip?

I am not able to repeat this error. Can you confirm how often it occurs?

Is this error repeatable across different boards?

It happens randomly. I have not found the way to reproduce it yet.

Yes. I have found this issue in different board (AOPEVM/ISK).

I have found the issue on different boards.

The issue happens randomly.

I don't find a way to reproduce it, but it may happen when I runs the demo for a while.

Hi Chris

It is likely just an issue with visualizer or the uart stream. I would recommend trying the demo on another PC or closing other running programs and making sure your PC is running on high performance mode.
