Customer wants to use a mmWave sensor to detect the ramp connecting the trailer to the dock. There are times when the forks from the forklift are too close to the ground and will tear parts (unspecified) of the ramp off. The plan is to have an ultrasonic sensor looking at the ground beneath the forks to determine their height and a mmWave sensor facing the rear of the forklift. If the height of the forks are too low and the radar detects an approaching ramp, the system on the forklift will tell the operator to raise the forks before proceeding. This data needs to be communicated to the computer on the forklift.
Can this module be attached to a Launchpad to communicate the radar data wirelessly?
