    Hello Frank,

        These are transmission lines, specially designed to land the mmWave probers. From this we could study the transmission line properties such as loss, transmission line delay, characteristic impedance etc. 

    This also helps in: if there are PCB material or parameter variation from lot to lot or from one vendor to another vendor we could assess the variations.
