MMWCAS-RF-EVM: How to generate CW from the eval board running MMWave studio

Hi,

I wanted to know if MMwave studio is able to configure the cascade board in CW mode or can I only do it by using Processor SDK?

Hello Asher,

There is a "ContStream" option in mmwave studio. You can use that for CW mode operation.

Hi Vivek,

Thank you for the response. The guide talks about "The remaining items in the ‘Basic Configuration for Analysis tool’ are not used by the ‘Post Processing tool’ but by the ‘Analysis tool’ which is a series of APIs used for ‘Signal Analysis’."

I'm guessing the Post Processing tool is the inbuilt Post processor in mmwave studio. What is the analysis tool?

Hello Asher,

The "Signal Analysis" is the post proc analysis tool which provides basic plots of the data that is been captured.

In the mmwave studio package there are "Cascade_Configuration_ContStream.lua" and "Cascade_Capture_ContStream.lua" example scripts (in the scripts/cascade folder). You could use those as reference and starting point.
