DCA1000EVM: MATLAB link for APIs

Hello,

I have queries regarding the following:

* I know the AWR 2243 chip has integrated APIs which can be easily used to configure the RF parameters and also for data capturing with DCA 1000 EVM. My question is there any linking code for MATLAB for this. I understand there is mmWavelink but it doesnt seem to work for me. So if we have a MATLAB based configuring system I think it will be easy for the community to configure and work with these nice APIs.

*I assumed the APIs can also be used for data Acquisition. Am I right here?

In this code mmWave studio is initialized and configured from Matlab.

I don’t have additional information other than the code

Hello Cesar,

I tried to connect using the matlab example that you asked me to refer to and I have two queries regarding the same:

* SInce AWR 2243 doesnot work on mmWave Studio 2.0.0.1 I used 3.0.0.14 version .dll file but some how it keeps throwing the ''Error inside Init_RSTD_Connection'' error and I cant connect.

* I tried with the older version .dll file too (RSTD_DLL_PATH) but that also doest work. I think I am setting something incorrectly. Can you help me with the same?

One more additional information : SOP used is SOP4 for AWR 2243

I assume it is right because it should be the same as when I run the mmWave studio GUI

Hi,

I have to check with the team if anybody has any experience with this API with Matlab version.

In the meantime I recommend you look at the new mmWave Studio CLI tool we just released in the new mmWave Platform Toolbox.

It is available in the TI Resource Explorer

Hi Cesar,

Do you have any advise for me regarding this?

It would be great if you can just create a matlab based link as an example the same way you have provided the matlab based post processing structure in the one of the data sheets.

I think it will be very useful for the society in general.
