AWR2243: 2 PCS AWR2243 cascaded, 6 channel TX simultaneously open for longer distance, how to compensate phase of different channel?

Part Number: AWR2243

Hello team,

One question:  if I use 2 pcs 2243 to open 6  channel TX for longer distance, I hope 6 channel TX has same phase for best performance, but different chip and different channel, even different RF line, it will effect initial phase of every channel, how can I compensate it?  2243 can adjust tx phase by 5.625 degree step, but you must know the different phase of every channel, then you can use it to compensate it. How can I measure the initial phase of every channel?

  thanks!

  • Hello Simon,

I think it would be good if you could refer to AWRx_TX_Channel_Calibration_Script_User_Guide.pdf that we have in our latest studio release. This document is explaining the same procedure you're trying to achieve.

You can find the document at the below location: <download_directory>\ti\mmwave_studio_03_00_00_14\mmWaveStudio\MatlabExamples

    Hope this gets you started.

    Regards,

    Ishita
