MMWCAS-RF-EVM: using Matlab script to interpret binary files

Part Number: MMWCAS-RF-EVM

Hi Randy, Tom,

I still have no clue as to how to interpret the .bin files obtained by running the mmwavelink_example.exe

Can you please provide a matlab file or any such scripting files that I can use with the file path as argument to obtain a .mat or .npy kind of ADC data in arrays ?

I could get the post-proc button in sensor-config of mmwave studio to work when I run the .lua script. But, I'd like to get it to run with mmwave_dfp_02_02_02_01 as this way, the radar has no mmwave dependency. I hope you appreciate the fact that using your radar for our purpose means we need to use it without Matlab running on it.

I've not been lucky to try this 6 months back.It seems, there is a problem with the visual studio 2019. Using v142, vs. v141;  SDK of windows 10.0.17xx vs. the more recent ones seem to have issues in getting the binary linked. Ethernet library provided with the 2G installer has been compiled with a different version. Can you please provide this information as to what is the right configuration that I should compile this code ?

I tried a few permutations from what I could muster on my computer. I get a binary that doesnt run !!

It has been extremely painful to get ahead inspite of spending more than 24 hours (spanning a few days) on this issue.

Any help will be gratefully appreciated !

Thanks,

Parashar
