TDC7201-ZAX-EVM : INTB operation time control related

Part Number: TDC7201-ZAX-EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TDC7201

HI

I previously wrote an inquiry about INTB control.

We would like to inquire about this and some additional questions.

1. At the time, the response was answered that the time could not be adjusted between the last STOP signal and INTB. Then, is there a need to wait for about 2us?

2. I'm using single stop data, can I only use the time1, cal1, and cal2 values for the job?

3. When starting a new measurement, only the start_meas bit in config1 reg is initialized and used. Should I initialize INT_STATUS and INT_MASK separately?

Regards,

RYU

  • Hi RYU,

    1. Yes, 1-2 us delay after the stop signal is needed. See post 2846001

    2. Yes, as seen on page 15 of the TDC7201 datasheet

    3. see below

TDCx_CLOCK_CNTR_STOP_MASK_H and TDCx_CLOCK_CNTR_STOP_MASK_L are used to configure the stop mask, either one time after device power on, or they can be changed in between measurements as needed.

    Regards,

    Gabriel
