IWR6843ISK: Effects of two sensors together

Part Number: IWR6843ISK

Hi

We have an entrance door 10 meters wide. We want to count the number of incoming people. We used two IWR6843ISK to cover the entire door.
We observed that when two IWR6843ISK are turned on, one sensor affects the other sensor
For example, in the middle of the night, one of the sensor records the counting of people, but in reality there was no person. But when a device works alone, it does the counting correctly.

Is there a solution to this problem?

Thanks

  • Hello

Can you please help us understand the below:

    1. Details of the setup:  Mounting, orientation, scenario

    2. WHich demo is run

3 When so called fall detection happens :  record/log  of data from both setups/device before, during and after that occurrence

    THank you,

    Vaibhav

  • 1. Details of the setup:  Mounting, orientation, scenario

Two IWR6843ISK is installed on the roof and is located at a height of 3 meters and at an angle of 30 to the ceiling

    2. WHich demo is run

3 When so called fall detection happens :  record/log  of data from both setups/device before, during and after that occurrence

It happens very randomly. I guess sometimes the waves of one device affect another

  • Hi,  Ahmad:

Interference can happen between the two sensor.  please refer to this e2e thread:
