AWR1843: 76- to 81-GHz coverage with 4 GHz available bandwidth

Hi, if this kind of device has 76 to 81GHz coverage why the labs and tools of TI has the option for set the frequencies from 76 to 77GHz and from 77 to 81GHz?, why we can use the 5GHZ BW instead the 4GHZ availables?, thanks

I think you are talking about design of the IC AWR1843 right?, not the EVK

Yes, the chip only supports 4GHz max bandwidth
