AWR1642: received power is not stable

Hi supporter；

In chamber with a corner reflector. We set the device to transmit and receive signal itself，and mesure the power we received.

The received signal power is unstable about 2dB.

why dose this happen？ I have chacked the datasheet and found the RX gainstep size is 2dB.

Dose this caused by RX gain change with temperature？

Yes, the variations in manufacturing process and temperature can cause this and hence the purpose of Self Calibration in mmWave Radar devices is to ensure the parameters are maintained as configured by the user despite these variations.
