MMWAVE-STUDIO: mmWave Studio: boot-up error: Unable to load DLL 'RadarLinkDLL.dll'

Part Number: MMWAVE-STUDIO

 Hello,

I also encountered the same issue with mmWave Studio 03.00.00.07.

I’m using Windows10 PC, in earlier mmWave Studio was working fine, but while I am unaware it stuck with the error “Unable to load DLL 'RadarLinkDLL.dll': The specified module could not be found. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007007E)”.

I have another PC, and using mmWave Studio 02.01.00.00.

I used to use it without any issue last year, but now I found it does not work with the same error.

So, I suspect some Windows update might affect the issue.

Could you please confirm?

Thanks,

-Shibata

  • Hello Shibata-San,

Yes, Sometimes post the windows update in the PC, mmWaveStudio on opening can indicate some RadarLinkDLL error/Object reference error.

Request you to follow the solution provided in this e2e.

Please let us know if it helps.

    Regards,

    Ishita

  • Hello Ishita,

    Thanks for your comments.

Though my PC is Windows10 Pro 1909, I followed the exact steps in the thread you shared, connected & power up the EVM, run mmWave Studio, and then the FTDI drivers get installed automatically.

After that the DLL issue has been resolved and mmWave Studio works with/without connecting the EVM.

I confirmed it with both my two PCs.

    Again thanks for your help.

    Best regards,

    -Shibata
