HDC1080: Hdc1080dmbr coated ？

Hdc1080dmbr (6-wdfn) - Ti ----- the material needs to be coated after mounting, but it needs to be covered above the RH sensor. Other brands have optional covers. How does hdc1080dmbr deal with this problem.

    Hi Kevin,

    Our HDC1x family of devices do not include an optional cover version, but we do have the HDC2021, which is footprint compatible (though not software-compatible) with the HDC1080. The HDC2021 does have a Polyimide tape covering for the purposes of conformal coating. 

    The other option would be to apply a tape cover to the HDC1080 before reflow and coating. If they went this route, they would have to run some tests with any tape they selected to ensure that it was protecting effectively.
