TMP432: How the temperature is linked to the transistor collector current

Part Number: TMP432

Hi Team,

Good day.

Our customer is currently using the TMP432ADGST with the MMBT3906 transistor to measure the temperature. Could you shed some light on how the temperature is linked to the transistor collector current?

The table 1 in the TMP432ADGST datasheet shows binary value and their corresponding temperature. Are these values correct with any transistor?

Thanks in advance!

Please see section 1.1 and 1.2 of this app note.

These values are correct with most BJTs, however there are some sources of errors that are highlighted in the above app note as well.

    Thanks,
