Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DCA1000EVM, MMWAVEICBOOST, IWR6843
I'm just trying to run IWR6843ISK basic demo on mmWave_Demo_Visualizer ver-3.5.0, I performed the following steps in this order:
1. I mounted IWR6843ISK on MMWAVEICBOOST and connected the setup to DCA1000EVM
2. Connected a 5v Power supply to MMWAVEICBOOST
3. Installed mmWave_Demo_Visualizer 3.5 and opened the GUI on chrome browser
4. Connected the USB to system from the carrier board and RJ45 from DCA1000EVM to the system
5. Change the Platform to xWR68xx, while the SDK version stayed 3.5 and the rest of the setting was unchanged(default)
6. Pressed NRST button
7. Opened options and it automatically detected the CFI and DATA port, set them up as 3 and 4 (verified them on windows device manager) with the default baud rates
8. The connections panel reflected the status as below
9. However I went ahead and hit "SEND CONFIG TO MMWAVE DEVICE" that insisted that the SDK supported by the board is 3,3.
10. Hence I changed the SDK version to 3.3 and tried all over again. But the problem persisted as shown below
11. When I tried the upload the config to the device, it returns
