Hey Team,

I have a customer that is looking into the topics below. Could you please provide guidance on these key areas fir design? Any documentation you have relating to these areas is much appreciated as well.

Secure firmware in IWR6843ISK - can it be secure in firmware? (critical)
1. Do we have documentation on code security?
Temperature - the IC can get really hot like 60C even when running at < 50% duty cycle. What are recommendations for heat-sinking this part?
Would using multiple devices make it's operation more reliable for vital monitoring? How could multiple devices affect the vital monitoring application?
What do you know about the EMI affects on the application of vital monitoring? We want to ensure that the device is guarded against EMI.
1. Do we have documentation on RF/EMI compliance?

As long as the junction temperature stays 105C you are within the Operating junction temperature range as shown in the datasheet. We don't have documentation showing heat sink for ISK but the linked document shows heat sink and temperature.

You will need High Security (HS) IWR6843 device for security. For safety features and evaluation, please request HS part number IWR6843AQSABL and

Hi Dajon

There is currently no known effects for EMI but we do not provide documentation or recommendations on this. Rather customers are expected to perform their own RF testing for their particular application.
