TMP1075: Configuration for the temperature data

Hello team,

Our customer would like to get the temperature data after boot up immediately.

Should customer configure something before getting the temperature data ?

For instance, they need to configure something resister in order to get the temperature data ?

If yes, please advise the procedure for configuration.

Hi Michiaki,

The TMP1075 will start in continuous conversion mode so after reset time (0.3 ms typ) + 1 conversion time (default 27.5 ms typ) the customer can read the temperature data.

Hello David,

You means that a START condition and any initialization is not needed if customer will use the default configuration and host and device is connected one by one.

Is my understanding correct ?

Michiaki,

"Start condition" and "initialization" are very vague terms. Once the customer has powered on the device. After waiting typically ~27.8 ms the customer can start reading temperature data using proper I2C communication. No need to configure any register settings.
