Dear TI Expert

The current 6843 SKD version(03_04_00_03) can transfer ADC RAW data via LVDS.

Can we use LVDS to take data out of L2 /L3 memory? I am wondering what kinds of processing we can do before we send data through LVDS.

If we can take data out of L2/L3 memory then we can send FFT data(range or doppler data) through LVDS.

Please help clarify this problem, thank you.

Hello,

Have you looked into the DCA1000EVM? It is a real-time data capture card for TI mmwave devices. The DCA1000EVM connects to a host PC via ethernet for data streaming. We then have software called mmWave Studio running on the host PC. This can generate the FFT plots you are looking for. Please see below links for more information:

Hello

We can capture raw data using the dca1000evm board through the lvds high-speed interface, currently we need 1D (range fft) or 2D (doppler fft) data to be transmitted through lvds, so my question is:

Can we transfer FFT data of L2/L3 memory through lvds interface?

Please help clarify this problem, thank you.

Hello,

We do not have a demo available where you can send the FFT data over LVDS. I recommend using the tools I mentioned above.

However, if sending the FFT data from memory is required for your project, then I can only advise you to follow this thread as they have done similar.

If you have questions about that particular thread and its implementation, I suggest creating a new post with a different topic.

Hello

According to your suggestion, fft data can be transmitted through lvds.

This data path is accessible, but no demo is available.

If the data path (hardware is connected), we will try to modify the code.

In addition, I can’t open this thread, it shows not found as below:
