IWR6843ISK-ODS: Can the TI Deep Learning (TIDL) be used on IWR6843ISK-ODS?

Hi,

I found that the TIDL could be used on a Sitara AM57x System-on-Chip to bring deep learning inference to an embedded application. I want to know whether it can also be used on the IWR6843ISK-ODS to perform inference? Does the processer and DSP of IWR6843ISK-ODS have the ablilty ti deal with this task?

What do you mean by use deep learning to perform inference on radar device? Can you give more detail explanation?

I mean whether it is possible to deploy a shallow trained neural network on IWR6843ISK-ODS for inference. Does the processer and DSP of IWR6843ISK-ODS have the ablilty to carry on such kind of computation?

HI, Jie:

We have not done any evaluation on using TIDL on our DSP. The only neural network inference processing we demonstrate is in the Gesture Demo with a hand trained ANN (Artificial Neural Network) for gesture recognition. You can find this demo below:

Note that it is provided as-is as a proof of concept and we do not support training new gestures etc.

I've read the user guide of two gesture demos but didn't find any information about how the gesture demo using the ANN. In user guide, it introduce how to deploy and use the demo to realize gesture recognition instead of the how the neural network do the inference. Is there some documents provide more details such as the architecture of ANN?
