Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MMWAVEICBOOST, , UNIFLASH
Hello,
We have an AWR6843ISK Rev.C (mounted on a MMWAVEICBOOST PROC074B) board that we use for :
- Flashing binaries with Uniflash (on Windows 10)
- Debug using Lauterbach using the JTAG connector
Yesterday after several flashing operation using Uniflash, I was not able to communicate with the board. When I tried using UniFlash, it was stuck at something "Open COM port" and then was showing an error. Also I've tried using Lauterbach to access the MCU and it was on "Debug port fail".
Here is the procedure that I used to flash using UniFlash :
- Remove power suply from the MMWAVEICBOOST
- Remove Lauterbach JTAG
- Move S1.12 to ON (to enable XDS110 instead of JTAG)
- Add jumper on P4 (SOP2)
- Connect XDS110 to the computer via USB
- Re-connect power supply to the MMWAVEICBOOST (5V, 1A)
- Flash using Uniflash
- Remove power supply
- Move S1.12 to OFF to enable JTAG via Lauterbach
- Remove jumper from P4 (SOP2)
- Remove XDS110 USB connection
- Provide power supply
During all this procedure the S1 switch on the AW6843ISK was always in the same configuration and did not change :
- S1.1 OFF
- S1.2 OFF
- S1.3 OFF
- S1.4 ON
- S1.5 ON
- S1.6 OFF
But today after playing with the switch and trying to communicate between the board and CCS studio (which didn't work), I've set the switch in the exactly same configuration as before and was able to communicate and flash in RAM using Trace32 / Lauterbach via JTAG. However there is now the DS3 LED (NERROUT) which is on and indicates an hardware error (NERROUT Glows if there is any HW error in the xWR device).
Does someone has any idea on this, why this LED is ON now ?
