Other Parts Discussed in Thread: IWR6843, IWR6843AOPEVM,
Hi. I see datasheet that its Elevation FOV is 30 (+/-15) degree.
Is the FOV always that value from the beginning? or this model has different FOV of previous version?
Thanks.
Tim

Hi,
Can you please share the section of the datasheet where you found this information? I don't believe we have the FOV of the EVM in the device datasheet.
That being said the elevation FOV has always been +/-15.

Hi,
I see IWR6843ISK Elevation FOV +/-15 degree in the document.
It doesn't mean that the document say it's always +/-15 degree.
What I try to clarify is, whether TI's IWR6843ISK has ever other FOV options or not.
From the link you provided, there are some TI's partners make different FOV antenna design.
If I want to buy different FOV IWR6843 EVM, I have to go to that partner's website rather than TI, am I right?
Thanks.
Tim
Hi,
The FOV is not determined by the antenna design not the IC.
as shown in the link, the IWR6843ISK-ODS and the IWR6843AOPEVM are both have a +/-60 FOV in both elevation and azimuth direction. is this what you need or are you looking for lower FOV?
