Could you please give me your advice about the following questions if TDC7201 is used in LIDAR application?

Q1.
Could you please tell me the recommended operation sequence for LIDAR application?

Q2.
For example, could you please tell me the register settings to measure the distance of the target object between 50m and 150m in LIDAR application?

Q3.
When performing repeated distance measurement, could you please tell me the time constraint from reset to standby?

Q4.
Could you please provide me the application note for LIDAR application?

Hi Kato,

Q1:

This depends on how how implement your system. I recommend reading the materials and E2E thread listed below and sections 7.5.6 of the TDC7201 datasheet. With a full understanding of the information presented there, you should be able to determine how to control the TDC7201 within your system's operation.

Q2:

The Short Time Measurement Using TDC7201 app note below, shows an example of the register settings programmed with the EVM GUI.

For Q1, I cannot find the sections 7.5.6 of TDC7201. So, could you please check again?
